016 - Being Aware
Maintain a healthy body and alert mind
during everyday life. You may become angry;
you may feel hate. But make sure you know
what is going on inside you, and do not take
any action that results in suffering for others.
Only you know how you feel. Feel your
lightness and try to release uneasy feelings.
There is no extraordinary method in order to
know yourself. Only the basic things will do.
When you are hungry, eat. When you are
sleepy, go to sleep. When you are sick, take
medication. When you are ready, you will
meet a teacher. But in order to be aware,
you will have to do it yourself. Your teacher
can only show you the way; you have to walk
on it.
